How much would you pay for a manual V6 Fiero that’s been kept in a climate controlled garage and only has 30k miles on it? ‘Cause !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Thats a sweet deal. Never loved them and have only driven the 4cyl but for 3k clean how could you go wrong. Would be a fun quirky time machine.

An ‘85 would be ok, but they really didn’t work out the suspension quirks until ‘88.

ThT asking price seems appropriate. I’m sure some Fiero nut will gladly pay that for it. I’d if it really does run and drive I’d happily pay 2500 for it.

I spent 4K on my manual 86 GT back in 2012 with quite a few more miles on it. 3k is solidly in “why not” territory in my opinion.
It’s a fun little daily driver that doesn’t ask for much and can eat highway miles comfortably. Its got quite the surprising exhaust rumble for what it is as well. I know they are somewhat of a enthusiast meme online but they are better cars than their reputation suggests.

$3000 for a clean, low mile, manual /V6 Fiero is very reasonable.

The average person can’t tell the difference anyways. Only thing I noticed between the 2 set ups was when I had to replace the front wheel bearing on my 88 GT. Yeah, it was a little tough finding a good one.

Just think, throw a Lambo kit on it and profit!

I think the Fiero looks good in its own right. I'd maybe find an SD4 style widebody kit but otherwise I'd keep it as a Fiero.

Of course you would. You’re on Oppo.

I’ve only test-driven an 88 but I’ve always suspected that was the case. The 88 suspension is an improvement, sure, but how many people can honestly say they feel a difference in normal driving? Plus you’re giving up GM parts-bin for a suspension that was specific (?) to one model year of niche car.
Not a great trade 30+ years later.

Every car is better than its reputation suggests. I bet half the negative reviews of supposedly “bad” cars are from people who’ve never driven one and are just repeating what they’ve heard and citing specs and data.
I’ve never gotten behind the wheel of any car and been unable to enjoy it in some way.
